Yoshi founded Restore and Integrate Physical Therapy (R&I PT) after 13 years of PT experience treating variety of complex and diverse patient populations. He has experience working in various locations, including Fresno, CA, New Delhi and Mumbai, India, Steamboat Springs, CO, and Manhattan, NY.
Yoshi is experienced in treating diverse patient population from pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, neurological, post-surgical, patients with chronic/acute pain, patients suffering from dysautonomia (insomnia, indigestion, dysmenorrhea and hormonal issues), athletes (injuries, injury prevention, and performance enhancement), and even vocalist to enhance their vocal performance.
He works with a patient as a team to attain each individual's goals.

Restore and Integrate Physical Therapy(R&I PT)is a professional corporation owned by Yoshi Fujii, PT, DPT, OCS, CFMT, FFMT, FAAOMPT. Yoshi is a licensed physical therapist in the State of California. He completed his master of physical therapy through California State University of Fresno (CSUF) in 2008 and pursed to complete a joint doctorate degree through University of California San Francisco (UCFS) and CSUF. He has been working at an out-patient orthopedic clinic since 2008.
With 13 years of experience as a physical therapist, Yoshi has earned various certifications including; Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT), Fellow Functional Manual Therapy (FFMT), Fellow of American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist (FAAOMPT). Yoshi completed is Fellowship program through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA). The Fellowship program is the highest level of manual therapy certification recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and IPA is one of the leading manual therapy organizations in the US.
Yoshi graduated from California State University of Fresno (CSUF) with his Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree in 2008. He started working part-time in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2009 through a joint DPT program at CSUF and University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
Yoshi pursued to develop his manual therapy skills and went on to become a Certificated Function Manual Therapist™ (CFMT) with honors from the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) in 2013.
From 2015-2016, Yoshi spent 1 year working in New Delhi and Mumbai, India at Vardan, an IPA partner clinic. While in India, he treated complex patients and provided training and mentoring for Indian physical therapists.
After returning to the United States in the mid-2016, Yoshi was accepted to participate in a year-long fellowship program through the IPA in Steamboat Springs, CO, receiving 1-on-1 mentoring from IPA co-founder Gregg Johnson and Vicky Johnson, as well as from experienced Fellows Brent Yamashita and Steve Warfel. He was acknowledged as a Fellow of Functional Manual Therapist (FFMT) and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2018.
Yoshi worked in the heart of Manhattan from 2017-2021 at a private orthopedic clinic as a residency director and mentored physical therapists as well as post-doctoral interns. He treated various patients from athletes to performing artists (dancers, vocalists, etc.), and general populations with orthopedic and/or neurological issues.
Yoshi is 1 of 3 therapists (along with Brent Yamashita and Taiji Matsumoto), who helped establish IPA Japan in 2010. Currently, Yoshi travels to Japan a 1-2 times per year for courses, and assists in both teaching and interpretation. He also teaches couple of courses a year for the IPA in America.
Yoshi grew up in Japan and is bilingual/bicultural. He was a competitive professional athlete at one point. He continues to stay active in various sports and applies his experience as a pro-athlete with his knowledge, skills, and passion in treating his patients.
